We run training programs throughout the year to offer camaraderie, structure, skill-building clinics, and support to runners and walkers of all levels.
These coached programs include individual instruction; group runs; custom training plans; seminars on stretching, nutrition, cross-training, and form; race preparation and support; and a lot of fun! The classes run for four to 18 weeks. Most are directed toward specific goal races.
2018 TRAINING CLASSES
Trail 9K Class
Starts May 9; $200. You'll fall in love with trails in this class! Designed for trail newbies as well as runners wanting to sharpen skills, the 11-week program builds hill-climbing endurance with the Pacifica Trail 9K on July 28 as the goal race. The class meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Portola Valley and Saturdays at 8 a.m. in varying park locations. May 9-July 28. Learn more and sign up here
Trail Half-Marathon Class
Starts May 8; $200. Get out and enjoy our beautiful trails this spring! This 11-week class is designed for runners with some familiarity with trails and/or the half-marathon distance. The goal race is the Pacifica Trail Half-Marathon on July 28. The class meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Portola Valley and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. at varying park locations. May 8-July 28. Trail Marathon Class
Starts in August; $200. This distance trail running class targets a trail marathon in October. Meets Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Running is more fun with Fleet Feet!
As well, our Thursday fun runs meet every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. The free, drop-in group runs vary from 3- to 6-mile routes around Menlo Park and Atherton.
