MORE RUNNERS = MORE FUN!
We run training programs throughout the year to offer camaraderie, structure, skill-building clinics, and support to runners and walkers of all levels.
These coached programs include individual instruction; group runs; custom training plans; seminars on stretching, nutrition, cross-training, and form; race preparation and support; and a lot of fun! The classes run for four to 18 weeks. Most are directed toward specific goal races.
2018 TRAINING CLASSES
Trail 30K Class
Starts August 21; $200. Fall is a gorgeous time of year on the trails! This 12-week class is designed for experienced trail runners comfortable with runs of 10 miles or more. The goal race is the Mt. Tam Trail 30K on November 10. The class meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Portola Valley and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. at varying park locations. (In September, the Tuesday meeting location will change to FFMP to accommodate earlier sunsets.) August 21-November 10. Learn more and sign up here.
Fall Monterey Bay Half-Marathon Training Team
Starts August 21; $200. Train for a half-marathon with us! Targeting the Monterey Bay Half Marathon on November 11, this 12-week program is designed for runners facing their first half-marathon--or their fortieth. Distance and intensity build gradually to the 13.1 mile race distance. August 21-November 11. Learn more and sign up here.
Getting Started Running Winter 2018
Starts in November; $200. Designed for newcomers and reentry runners, this class starts where you are and moves forward in baby steps. We'll keep running through the holiday season, targeting the Hot Chocolate 5K race in San Francisco on January 13.
Running is more fun with Fleet Feet!
As well, our Thursday fun runs meet every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. The free, drop-in group runs vary from 3- to 6-mile routes around Menlo Park and Atherton.

Pacifica Trail 9K or 21K by Pacific Coast Trail Runs on July 28
$200 (excluding race entry fee)
In May two trail programs launch, both training for the Pacifica Trail race on July 28. Our Trail 10K team will meet Wednesdays and Saturdays; our Trail Half-Marathon team will meet Tuesdays and Saturdays. In August, we'll launch two more trail running programs for fall training.
