We run training programs throughout the year to offer camaraderie, structure, skill-building clinics, and support to runners and walkers of all levels.
These coached programs include individual instruction; group runs; custom training plans; seminars on stretching, nutrition, cross-training, and form; race preparation and support; and a lot of fun! The classes run for four to 18 weeks. Most are directed toward specific goal races.
2016 TRAINING CLASSES
Rock n Roll SF: 13.1 Class
Starts January 12; $150. This is a 12-week program designed to build endurance steady and prepare runners for a 13.1 mile race. The goal race is the SF Rock n Roll Half on April 3. Class meets Tuesdays and Saturdays. January 12-April 3. Learn more and sign up here.
NoBo 5K: Getting Started Running
Starts February 10; $150. A 12-week class that builds gradually to prepare athletes for a 5K distance race. For beginning and reentry runners; walk/run interval runners welcome. The goal race is the Big Bear 5K in Menlo Park on May 1. Class meets Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. February 10-May 2. Learn more and sign up here.
Thrills & Skills: Hit your 10K PR
Starts April 5; $100. A six-week intensive of track and hill training to improve skills and speed. Goal race is the Super Hero 10K on May 15 in San Mateo. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. April 5–May 15. Learn more and sign up here.
Surf’s Up: 13.1 Class
Starts April 5; $100. This is condensed program, at 7 weeks, with the goal race the Capitola Half Marathon on May 22. The class is best for runners already comfortable running 5 miles. Meets Tuesdays and Saturdays. April 5-May 22. Learn more and sign up here.
Table Rock 27K Trail Class
Starts April 26; $150. A 12-week program training for the Table Rock 27K trail race at Stinson Beach in Marin County. Training routes on trails. Meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. April 26–July 16
Starts April 27; $150. A 12-week program training for the Table Rock 10K race on July 16 at Stinson Beach in Marin County. This race is very steep! Class meets Wednesdays and Saturdays. April 27–July 16

Starts May 31; $100. A six-week intensive of track and hill training to improve skills and speed. Goal race is the Jungle Run 10K on July 23 in Los Gatos. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. May 31–July 10
Fall Road Marathon Class: Chicago
Starts June 21; $200. 16-week program training for Chicago Marathon on October 9. Meets Tuesdays and Saturdays. June 21–October 9
Skyline to the Sea: Trail Marathon
Starts July 19; $150. 12-week program training for Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail Marathon on October 8 in Los Gatos. For experienced trail runners. Training routes on trails on weekends and on roads/track on weekdays. Meets Tuesdays and Saturdays. July 19–October 8
Fall Half-Marathon Class
Starts August 23; $150. 11-week program training for the Big Sur Half Marathon in Monterey on Nov. 6. Meets Tuesdays and Saturdays. August 23–November 6
NoBo 5K Getting Started Running
Starts August 24; $150. 10-week class training for the Ghost Run 5K October 29. Meets Wednesdays and Saturdays. August 24–October 29
Speed Class: Run Your Fastest 5K
Starts September 13; $100. A six-week intensive of track and hill training to improve skills and speed. Goal race is the OktobeRun 10K on Oct. 22 in Redwood City. September 13–October 22
Running is more fun with Fleet Feet!
As well, our Thursday fun runs meet every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. The free, drop-in group runs vary from 3- to 6-mile routes around Menlo Park and Atherton.
